Meridian |

In astronomy, the meridian is the great circle passing from North at the horizon over the north celestial pole (NCP), to zenith and down to South at the horizon on the northern hemisphere.
On the southern hemisphere it connects the South at the horizon, the south celestial pole (SCP), nadir and the North at the horizon.
