Travel Recommendation: Carrying power banks on airplanes is limited by international flight regulations. A maximum capacity of 100Wh is permitted. Powerbanks may not be stowed in checked baggage but must be carried in hand baggage. For power banks between 100Wh and 160Wh, explicit permission must be obtained from the airline; higher capacities are generally not permitted.
