Now that you've hopefully taken maybe hundreds of good light frames last night, it's time to post-process them to turn them into really beautiful images. I have called this step "image post-processing".  


There are many options available for this image post-processing and which ones are used also depends on what the images were taken with (e.g. DSLR or a special astro camera). In my tutorial, I will focus on post-processing in PixInsight, which is probably one of the most powerful SW tools for processing astro images. Some other helpful tools are also covered.
