Checking the Time Setting

Purpose

Avoid time differences between ASIAIR and mount that cause errors during GoTo operations

Always set DST to NO on your mount (use your hand controller for this purpose) as otherwise your mount will point to a wrong direction during your first GoTo attempt as the time on your mount hand controller and on the ASIAIR App will differ by 1 hour.

  

For example, see this screenshot with an IEQ45Pro and the GPS module enabled: The displayed time is 11:38:22 in a UTC+1 time zone, but the corresponding local time is 12:38:22.



You will get the same result if you try to override the mount time and coordinates using Sync to Mount.
