Step 1: generate the Master Light as usual, take care all frames have a astrometric solution.
Step 2: PCC: Photometric Color Calibration (not necessary)
Step 3: Gradient correction, e.g. Graxpert (Script > Toolbox)
Step 4: Script: MosaicByCoordinates (Script > Mosaic > MosaicByCoordinates)
Settings: Projection: Stereographic, click Click on Calculate to coordinates, Interpolation: e.g.Lanzos-3
save the frames unstretched
see: PixInsight Mosaic By Coordinates for Easy Mosaic Creation - Chaotic Nebula
save all frames into a new folder
Warning: some astrometric solutions will have funny values after this step, like X/Y pixel size and Focal Length.
Step 5: Apply script dnaLinearFit.js on all neighboring frames: dnaLinearFit (download here) and install with PixInsight Repository
(local folder e.g.:D:\Dokumente\Astro\Scripts\dnaLinearFit.js)
Step 6: GradientMergeMosaic (processes > All > GradientMergeMosaic
Astrometric solution will be deleted in this step and X/Y pixel size and Focal Length values
Step 7: Crop the image
You can then de-linearize and quality enhance the image.
