Good planning support is available from these tools:
- SGPro Target planning tool (computer based)
- ASIAIR Pro Target selection
- Target Planning with ASIAIR and SkyAtlas
- SkySafari Pro
- Stellarium
Make sure that the selected target will be at least 20° (better > 50°!) above the horizon and not too close to the east of the meridian if you want to avoid a meridian flip of your mount during the photo session.
